What we did today:

Manipulatives: We made a “painter” and a “hammer” with our bristle blocks and “fixed” our train table. We stuck our tea spoons into pegs to make birthday cupcakes with “candles.”

Housekeeping: We sat around our table singing “happy birthday” and blowing out the “candles.” We called “mama” and “daddy” on the phone and told them what we were doing. We used our keys as jewelry and made them jingle.

Infant/Toddler Room Activity: We borrowed the frog and prince builders from our older friends and stuck them together and teethed on them. We practiced putting blocks into and out of a bucket, and pushed our walkers around.

Outside Time: We got out our playhouse with the mailbox and used leaves and rocks for mail. We received mail from “Caddy” and “Evelynn,” it said “From Evelynn.” We rode an “ambulance”, “train” and “black dragons” on our bikes today and with our steering wheels. We rode dragons to “Arendale” and used sticks as swords. We also used our sticks to draw a “fire” in the dirt.

At Morning Meeting: We sang “The Days of Week Go Round and Round,” “Five Little Bluebirds,” and “March.” We did our calendar, Aubree was helper today.
