What we did today:

Block Area: We used our wooden blocks to build tents for our people, and put them to bed in them.

Manipulatives: We built “tractors” and “cars” with our snap blocks and used them to “dig.” We also used them to make “candy.”

Housekeeping: We feed our babies in their highchair. We made “strawberry candy,” “a piece of chocolate,” and “a battery” in our tea pot using our snap blocks.

Infant/Toddler Room Activity: We dumped our toys, and practiced putting toys back in the buckets. We played with our bumper game and worked on opening and closing doors and turning off and on switches with our sesame street toy.

Outside Time: We spent some time watching the road crews work, we saw “a backhoe” and “a scooper.” We also watched the big trucks back up and went “beep, beep” just like the truck. We then went to the backyard and played “trucks” with our bikes. We “mowed the grass,” and went “beep, beep” as we were backing up. We also played with our big slide and did a great job taking turns today.

For Breakfast We Had: Oatmeal, banana, and milk.

For Lunch We Had: Cottage cheese, toast with butter, corn, oranges and milk.

For Snack We Had: Graham crackers and milk.

We had nap time from 1:00 to 3:00
