What we did today:

Block Area: We used our wooden blocks to build tents for our people, and put them to bed in them.

Manipulatives: We built “tractors” and “cars” with our snap blocks and used them to “dig.” We also used them to make “candy.”

Housekeeping: We feed our babies in their highchair. We made “strawberry candy,” “a piece of chocolate,” and “a battery” in our tea pot using our snap blocks.

Infant/Toddler Room Activity: We dumped our toys, and practiced putting toys back in the buckets. We played with our bumper game and worked on opening and closing doors and turning off and on switches with our sesame street toy.

Outside Time: We spent some time watching the road crews work, we saw “a backhoe” and “a scooper.” We also watched the big trucks back up and went “beep, beep” just like the truck. We then went to the backyard and played “trucks” with our bikes. We “mowed the grass,” and went “beep, beep” as we were backing up. We also played with our big slide and did a great job taking turns today.

For Breakfast We Had: Oatmeal, banana, and milk.

For Lunch We Had: Cottage cheese, toast with butter, corn, oranges and milk.

For Snack We Had: Graham crackers and milk.

We had nap time from 1:00 to 3:00

What we did today:

Block Area: We made trains with the long blocks and we hammered blocks to build a house.

Loft: Evelyn drove the car and took our friends Silas and Charlotte for a ride!

Manipulatives:We played with magnet blocks Charlotte and Jaelynn built houses and knocked them over. We also played with the magnetic clydiners.

Housekeeping: We made food for all of our friends.

Infant/Toddler Room Activity: Ryo practiced sitting up on his own. We like kicking the small balls around the room, and are enjoying catching them too! We love looking at ourselves in the mirror!

Outside Time: We took out the dump trucks and fire truck from the sandbox and played with them in the garden. Zachariah and Evelyn were on the play structure calling for their friend Charlotte. We also rode our bikes and helped pick up some leaves. We watched our neighbor Ron measure some equipment in his yard.

At Morning Meeting: Aubree was the sharer, we read, “The Eensy Weensy Spider.”

For Breakfast We Had: Toast, Strawberries, and Milk

For Lunch We Had: Cottage Cheese, Baked Beans, Carrots, Toast with Butter and Milk

For Snack We Had: Blueberries and Goldfish Crackers

We had nap time from 12:30 to 2:45

What we did today:

Block Area: We made beds for our people and put them to bed. We also built tall Lego towers.

Loft: We used the stuffed animal crates to make a “bed for my baby.” and then used our pillows to pretend to sleep.

Manipulatives: We did a lot of building with our magnet builders today, We made “a tractor,” “motorcycles,” “robots,” and “trucks for the robots.”

Housekeeping: We “wiped” down our spray bottles and table with our sponge. We made phone calls to our families.

Infant/Toddler Room Activity: We put our balls into baskets, practicing “putting away.” We tried hard to learn how to take off our own shoes. We practiced our crawling and rolling. We rattled our rattle and practiced our sharing by passing it back and forth.

Project: We made streamer rainbows with cotton ball clouds.

Outside Time: We “painted the dirt.” We drove a “dump truck,” hauled and dumped rocks with our bikes today. We made dinner, “chicken and rice.” with our spaghetti and beans play food.

For Breakfast We Had: Cheerios, pineapples, and milk.

For Lunch We Had: Cheese sandwiches, broccoli, oranges and milk.

For Snack We Had: Chocolate brioche and carrot sticks.

We had nap time from 1:00 to 3:00

What we did today:

Loft: We read books with Sam, we read “Air Is All Around You,” “There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Clover,” and “Two Tiny Mice.”

Manipulatives: We built with our connect and create, we made “tools” and “hammers” and “broke” our train table with them.

Housekeeping: We cooked dinner, we made “pasta. we played doctor with our baby dolls and “cleaned” our classroom.

Infant/Toddler Room Activity: We played with our shape sorter, we’re getting very good at it. We stacked our stacking cups and knocked them over. Our crawling friend kept crawling backward and getting stuck, but they’re working on it.

Project: We played playdough, we made snowmen and practiced rolling balls and snakes.

Outside Time: We played with our balls, they were “bouncy.” We played cops, chasing our friends on bikes making siren noises.

At Morning Meeting: We read “Red Fish, Blue Fish,” We played our instruments along with our good morning song. we sang our march song and did our lamb and lion chart, today is a lamb day. Jaelynn was helper today.

For Breakfast We Had: Pancakes, apples, and milk

For Lunch We Had: Cottage cheese, salad, buttered bread, broccoli and milk

For Snack We Had: blueberry muffins and milk.

We had nap time from 1:00 to 3:00

What we did today:

Manipulatives: We made a “painter” and a “hammer” with our bristle blocks and “fixed” our train table. We stuck our tea spoons into pegs to make birthday cupcakes with “candles.”

Housekeeping: We sat around our table singing “happy birthday” and blowing out the “candles.” We called “mama” and “daddy” on the phone and told them what we were doing. We used our keys as jewelry and made them jingle.

Infant/Toddler Room Activity: We borrowed the frog and prince builders from our older friends and stuck them together and teethed on them. We practiced putting blocks into and out of a bucket, and pushed our walkers around.

Outside Time: We got out our playhouse with the mailbox and used leaves and rocks for mail. We received mail from “Caddy” and “Evelynn,” it said “From Evelynn.” We rode an “ambulance”, “train” and “black dragons” on our bikes today and with our steering wheels. We rode dragons to “Arendale” and used sticks as swords. We also used our sticks to draw a “fire” in the dirt.

At Morning Meeting: We sang “The Days of Week Go Round and Round,” “Five Little Bluebirds,” and “March.” We did our calendar, Aubree was helper today.

For Breakfast We Had: Cheerios, apples, and milk.

For Lunch We Had: Chicken (Meat alternate: kidney beans), Stuffing, yams, peas and milk.

For Snack We Had: Whole wheat crackers, and carrot sticks.

We had nap time from 1:00 to 3:00
